We continue to be blessed with wonderful volunteers. Sue is a fellow member of the North Myrtle Beach Women’s Club. She has great passion and decided the shelter needed a “Crock Pot” class for each of our men and women. So, once a month she teaches our shelter guests how to take four ingredients and make a nourishing and inexpensive meal. Also, through donations in the community, each shelter guest will leave with their own crock pot to take to their new home. THANK YOU SUE!
One of my favorite members from Our Lady Star of the Sea Church is Miss Elizabeth. She has been a volunteer for many years. This year was her first time to be a part of our fundraising for the 7th Annual Spaghetti Dinner. She made a “plan of attack” and went door to door on Hwy 17 with great success. Thank you so much for your perseverance and all that you do for the shelter!
